The path here ran through five operator desks before it found the Gulf. Reddit during the moderation reset. Tinder when growth was outpacing the operating model. Twitter through three CEOs. Snowflake before the IPO bell. Strava in the long climb to mainstream. Each stint left a different residue, and a sharper sense of what product ops can and can't fix from inside.
In 2024 the practice moved East. The Gulf has the founders, the capital, and the appetite, with a quiet gap on the operating side. Most consumer-tech teams here are running ahead of their operating bench. Most senior program ops talent is still concentrated in San Francisco. Seef Consulting is the bridge: a single operator with twelve years of consumer-scale rep, embedded close enough to ship and distant enough to see clearly.
